One of the first things we do during the consultation is simply sit down and talk.

This conversation also helps me understand what you’re hoping for from your maternity photographs.

Seeing the Studio

Over the years I’ve built a collection of more than 50 maternity gowns and dresses specifically selected for photography.

Rather than simply looking through a catalog, you’ll actually have the opportunity to try on dresses that catch your eye.

This is often the moment everything starts to feel real.

Many mothers arrive saying,

“I have no idea what I’ll wear.”

A few minutes later they’re standing in front of the mirror smiling because they’ve found a dress they absolutely love.

It’s one of my favorite transformations to watch.

Planning Your Session Together

Once we’ve explored wardrobe options, we’ll begin planning your session.

We’ll talk about questions like:

Many expecting mothers wonder how hair and makeup works.

We’ll explain everything during your consultation.

Professional hair and makeup is designed to help you feel relaxed, confident, and camera-ready while still looking like yourself.

Many clients tell me this becomes one of their favorite parts of the entire experience because it’s a chance to slow down, be pampered, and simply enjoy the day.

Preparing Your Partner and Family

If your partner or children will be joining the session, we’ll also discuss how to prepare them.

We’ll talk about clothing choices, coordinating colors, and how to create a look that feels polished without looking overly matched.

Many dads ask what they should wear.
